The first ever Brisbane Fashion Weekend, 2016

Hey guys!

Last weekend was special for a couple of reasons. One - I had a much overdue hairdressers appointment, and two - it was the first ever Brisbane Fashion Weekend (BFW). I was lucky enough to get an invite to attend the event, and it was certainly a show to remember.

After feeling rather let down by the industry since Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival announced it's discontinuation in Brisbane, I was delighted to hear the arrival of BFW. Of course my expectations were high for this event; in my eyes, it had a lot to live up to. So with a tea in my hand and my bestie by my side, I made my way to the runway.

The entire event aced my every expectation and more. Was it the amazing clothing and jewellery stalls? The sparkling runway of gorgeous models? The endless presentations held by fashion experts and stylists? Probably! I was certainly kept my element for a while.
