I beat my PB ... thanks to @skinsglobal.

I couldn't wait to try out my new Skins compression wear when they arrived. Skins active wear are made with compression technology, and I read they have many benefits to the body when wearing them during exercise. Some of those benefits include:

  • Increasing blood flow velocity
  • Increasing muscle oxygenation
  • Reduce blood lactate at submaximal intensities
  • Increasing force production
  • Reducing swelling

Enough of the science ...

I love to exercise each morning, whether that's with a run, a HIIT workout, or taking my mum's pilates classes (she is amazing!), so I was very interested to see if Skins really worked on me. So off I went for a 5k run along the Brisbane river.

And I felt amazing! No soreness, I wasn't too hot in the long breathable sleeves, and I don't know if it was coincidence, but I actually knocked a substantial amount of time off my regular pace! See the redness of my face... LOL.

This is my favourite workout gear EVER. I can't actually rate Skins high enough. A BIG five star from Riri! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(The only problem now is I have to buy another pair to wear when these are in the wash, because I refuse to wear anything else on my runs!)
